Dis-Ease vs. Wellbeing

Conventional medicine views the body as a mechanical unit of separate systems, with focus on physiological symptoms to diagnose or treat. The goal is to cure the disease with drugs and surgery.

Holistic healing views the body as an interconnected whole energetic and bio-chemical system of body, mind and spirit, with focus on individual evolutionary progress. The goal is to find the core cause, harmonize and heal, strengthen the vital life force and evolve into wholeness.

Well being can be perceived as the continuos flow of vital life force energy between individual body, mind, spirit and the interconnected web of universal body, mind, spirit. When we become stressed, ill or diseased we are blocking the in breath and outflow of vital life force.

Dis-ease is the souls way of communicating that their is a blockage of life force, that something is amiss in body, mind or spirit. Each disease is an instigator of change. It is up to us to step into this new gateway of consciousness
re-pairing that which has fragmented bringing it into unity. Often times disease comes with a healing crisis urging us to pay attention to our present state of consciousness, our thoughts, emotions and how we care for our physical form.
Every healing crisis requires a catharsis of that which no longer serves us and an opportunity for us to emerge into a higher aspect of body, mind and spiritual development.

Through self inquiry one can come into a deeper sense of wholeness. The actual healing modality is unique to the individual, for some it may be conventional, for others it may be holistic or some combination of the two . What is universal to true healing is metanoia - a change of consciousness.
